Lyman volleyball wins in three sets

FORT PIERRE — The Lyman volleyball team defeated Stanley County in straight sets Thursday in Fort Pierre. Set scores were 25-16, 25-10, 25-6.

Lyman’s Jessica Welter had 11 kills and Anna Flitner recorded nine kills and 14 digs. Bailey Almond tallied five aces and 17 set assists, Rachel Chester added three blocks and Sara Herman had eight digs. Chesney Garnos had two aces.

The Raiders’ next action is a District 13B matchup Tuesday in Jones County.
