Quarterfinal football playoff matchups set

The pairings for the quarterfinal round of the South Dakota High School Activities Association playoffs have been set.

Times and places for the games have not been determined.

The quarterfinals are played Monday with the higher seeded team hosting the game. The semifinals are No. 3 and the state championships are Nov. 8-9 at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.

11AA: No. 1 Sioux Falls Washington vs. No. 8 Brookings; No. 4 Sioux Falls O’Gorman vs. No. 5 Yankton; No. 2 Brandon Valley vs. No. 7 Pierre; No. 3 Sioux Falls Roosevelt vs. No. 6 Sioux Falls Lincoln.

11A: No. 1 Dell Rapids vs. No. 8 Chamberlain; No. 4 Todd County vs. No. 5 Hot Springs; No. 2 Harrisburg vs. No. 7 West Central; No. 3 Spearfish vs. No. 6 Dakota Valley.

11B: No. 1 Winner vs. No. 8 Custer; No. 4 Flandreau vs. No. 5 St. Thomas More; No. 2 Tri-Valley vs. No. 7 Deuel; No. 3 Aberdeen Roncalli vs. No. 6 Parkston.
