DWU wrestling tried for 16th in preseason poll

The Dakota Wesleyan University wrestling team cracked its way into the NAIA Wrestling Preseason Top 20 Coaches’ Poll in a tie for 16th.

The Tigers received 43.5 points and are tied with Missouri Valley. DWU finished last year’s season 7-10 and took fourth at the North Qualifying Tournament and 26th at nationals.

Southern Oregon received the most points with 139 and is ranked No. 1 in the preseason.
