Laura H. Buck, 77, Armour, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Golden Living Center, Armour.

She was born on Feb. 20, 1935.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Grandview Reformed Church, Armour. Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Armour.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church with a 7 p.m. prayer service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Koehn Brothers Funeral Home, Armour.

Laura Helen Buck was born in Stickney to Henry H. and Ruth E. (Davis) Wulf.

She was raised on the family farm west of Stickney and attended eight years of country school.

She married Harold L. Buck Sr. on June 9, 1952, at Crystal Lake.

Into this union were born four children: Harold L. Buck Jr, Daniel Buck, Linda Laib and Rose Alexander.

Laura worked at many different jobs in the Armour area, including at various cafés.

She was a member of Grandview Reformed Church in Armour, VFW Auxiliary and Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidery.

She is survived by her husband, Harold, Armour; four children: Harold (Debra) Buck Jr.,Hillsboro, Ore.; Daniel Buck, Armour; Linda (Gary) Laib, Armour; and Rose William) Alexander, Allen, Texas; brothers and sisters: Vernon Wulf, Mitchell; Walter Wulf, Plankinton; Mickey Darrough, Sioux City, Iowa; Pauline Greene,Plankinton; Lawrence (Agnes) Wulf, Hawarden, Iowa; Vi Morrison, Plankinton; Richard Wulf, Sioux Falls; Henry Wulf, Marcus, Iowa; Olive Fraunenfelder, Rapid City; and Bea Wulf, Stickney; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Albert and Barney Wulf; two sisters, Elaine Edinger and Henrietta Tille; and an infant sister, Our Darling.
