Pumpkin contest set at Dig Pink Night

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — The 2012 Dig Pink Night will feature a pumpkin decorating contest from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the elementary school in Wessington Springs.

WESSINGTON SPRINGS — The 2012 Dig Pink Night will feature a pumpkin decorating contest from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday at the elementary school in Wessington Springs.

The event will be held in conjunction with Wessington Springs vs. Hitchcock-Tulare volleyball games.

Funds will go to Weskota Foundation’s Cancer Fund.

The cost is $5 per entry and pumpkins may be painted, carved or have objects added to them. No candles or anything plugged in will be allowed. Pumpkins must be dropped between 4:30 and 5 p.m. and picked up by 8:15 p.m. For information call 539-1201.
