The Weekend Snack Pack Program is now accepting donations of food items, used bags, cash donations and aluminum cans. The cans will be recycled and the money used to purchase food for the program.

Items may be dropped off at any time at 609 E. First Ave. and checks can be made to “Weekend Snackpack” and mailed to that address.

The program is now distributing 315 bags of food weekly to children at Mitchell elementary schools. For three years the program has provided the food bags for weekend nutrition for children. For information or a presentation, contact Cindy Novachich at 770-5832 or at weekendsnackpack@gmail.com.
