An 18-year-old Huron man pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity Tuesday to charges related to his alleged role in a car fire last month in Mitchell.
Patrick Red Legs is charged with intentional property damage and reckless burning or exploding for allegedly setting a car on fire Sept. 9 near the 900 block of West Second Avenue in Mitchell with two other men, Jeremiah Hart, 22, of Huron, and Matthew Hart, 20, of Mitchell.
He faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine for each charge.
A psychiatric evaluation was ordered and a trial was set for December.
