A Mitchell woman was arrested Sept. 26 after police allegedly found methamphetamine in her apartment.

Latricia Larose Arcoren, 21, faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine for possession of meth, and 30 days in jail and a $500 fine for possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges stem from a search conducted by Mitchell police at Arcoren’s apartment, located at 901 W. Eighth Ave. Police allegedly found a marijuana pipe in a drawer of a coffee table and a light bulb with meth residue on it in a trash can.

Arcoren is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
