The Jackrabbits are 4-1 in the season and are undefeated at 2-0 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference, while the Leathernecks have a record of 3-2 overall and 1-1 in conference play.
SDSU defeated Western Illinois in the final game of the season last year 27-7.
Running back Zach Zenner leads the SDSU offense with 137 carries for 1,077 yards and six touchdowns on the season. Quarterback Austin Sumner is 65-of-129 passing for 743 yards and five touchdowns.
The Leathernecks are led by running back Nikko Watson with 91 carries for 441 yards and one touchdown on the season.
University of South Dakota vs. Missouri State,

The University of South Dakota is looking to snap its three-game losing streak Saturday. The Coyotes play Missouri State at 1 p.m. in Springfield, Mo.
The Bears have yet to win a game this season with a record of 0-6, while USD is 1-4 on the season.
This is the first meeting between the teams.
Josh Vander Maten leads the Coyotes’ offensive attack with 73-of-126 passing for 895 yards and six touchdowns on the season. Vander Maten is USD’s second leading rusher with 58 carries for 232 yards and three touchdowns.
USD’s Marcus Sims has 335 yards on 58 attempts and three touchdowns on the season.
MSU’s Ashton Glaser has led the offense with 109-of-203 passing for 1,159 yards and two touchdowns. Glaser has also scored three rushing touchdowns this season.

The Augustana football team travels to play Upper Iowa in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference matchup at 1 p.m. Saturday at Harms-Eischeid Stadium in Fayette, Iowa.
The Vikings (2-4) have yet to win on the road this season. The Peacocks (2-4) look to break a two-game losing streak and are 1-2 at home this season.
Quarterback Josh Hanson has led the Viking offense by completing 135 of 236 passes for 1,645 yards and 19 touchdowns on the season. Grant Gebhardt leads all Augustana receivers with 38 catches for 549 yards and six touchdowns.
Dajon Newell has 89 carries for 469 yards and three touchdowns for the Vikings.
University of Sioux Falls vs. Concordia University, St. Paul,

The University of Sioux Falls football team is hoping to bounce back from its first loss of the season last week as it takes on Concordia University, St. Paul at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Bob Young Field in Sioux Falls.
USF is 5-1 after last week’s loss to Winona State, while the Golden Bears improved to 2-4 after defeating Upper Iowa 35-6 last week.
The Cougars lead the all-time series 5-1.
Quarterback Taylor Perkins has led the Cougar offense by completing 107-of-194 passing for 1,419 yards and 17 touchdowns. Carrington Hanna is USF’s leading receiver with 37 catches for 533 yards and seven touchdowns.
Concordia’s James Peterson has led offensively with 110-of-202 passing for 1,493 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Dakota State University vs. Briar Cliff, 1 p.m. Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa
The Dakota State Trojan football team has yet to win a game this season and takes on Briar Cliff at 1 p.m. Saturday in Sioux City, Iowa.
Last season, DSU (0-7) won the GPAC matchup 24-16. The Chargers are 1-5 on the season and 1-4 in conference play.
DSU’s Kris Dearie has 46 carries for 195 yards on the season and Brandon Large has led the offensive attack with 1,769 passing yards and 13 touchdowns on the season.
SD School of Mines and Technology vs. Presentation College, 2 p.m. Saturday in Rapid City
S.D. Mines and Technology looks to rebound after losing to Missouri Southern last week as it takes on in-state rival Presentation College at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rapid City.
This is the first meeting between the teams and both are searching for their second win of the season as they have records of 1-5.
Hardrockers running back Jahmel Rover has 84 carries for 472 yards and four touchdowns, while quarterback Mike Zanutto has led the offensive attack with 87-of-150 passing for 777 yards and three touchdowns.
Presentations’ Stephen Braswell has led the Saints with 1,137 yards and nine touchdowns on the year. Matthew James leads all Saints receivers with 20 receptions for 185 yards and one touchdown.
Black Hills State University vs. Chadron State, 1 p.m. Saturday in Chadron, Neb.
The Black Hills State football team is hoping to rebound from last week’s loss to Adams State when it plays Chadron State at 1 p.m. Saturday in Chadron, Neb.
Chadron State fell to 4-2 on the season after losing to Colorado State-Pueblo last week, while BHSU dropped to 1-4 on the year.
BHSU’s Ward Anderson has led offensively with 103-of-204 passing for 1,067 yards and five touchdowns.
Eagles’ Jonn McLain leads the offensive attack with 97-of-151 passing for 960 yards and 13 touchdowns on the season.
