SD man sentenced to prison for sex abuse charge

SIOUX FALLS (AP) — A South Dakota man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for having sexual contact with a person incapable of consenting.

U.S. Attorney Brendan Johnson announced Wednesday that 40-year-old Randall Carl Little Thunder was sentenced last week on a charge of sexual abuse.

Little Thunder, of Parmelee, must also remain on supervised release for five years.

Little Thunder pleaded guilty to having sexual contact with the victim in June 2011.
