Camera Club holds October meeting, judges photos in multiple categories

The Mitchell Camera Club judged photos Oct. 2 for the Oct. 4 meeting at the County Fair Banquet Hall.

The Mitchell Camera Club judged photos Oct. 2 for the Oct. 4 meeting at the County Fair Banquet Hall.

This month’s category was “Sky/Clouds.” Next month’s category is “Street People (strange/emotional).”

The club discussed aperture and shutter speed and how they relate to exposure.

The club watched a video and Bob Podhradsky showed other examples of exposure and techniques he has obtained using exposure rules, and did some demonstrations with his camera.

This sparked many questions and was enjoyed by the members. November’s meeting will expand on the exposure topic with members using their cameras to put the rules of exposure in action. Potential new members and visitors are welcomed at all meetings.
