SIOUX FALLS — The Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Association has endorsed Matt Varilek for Congress.

SIOUX FALLS — The Great Plains Tribal Chairmen’s Association has endorsed Matt Varilek for Congress.

Varilek, a Democrat, is trying to unseat Rep. Kristi Noem, a freshman Republican. The Great Plains Tribal Chairman’s Association includes leaders from all nine tribes in South Dakota. The GPTCA is made up of the 16 tribal leaders from South Dakota, North Dakota and Nebraska.
