Dorothy E. Schmitt, 88, Kimball, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at Sanford Care Center, Chamberlain.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, Kimball. Burial will be in St. Margaret’s Catholic Cemetery, Kimball. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the church with a 7 p.m. rosary/scripture service.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hickey Funeral Chapel, Chamberlain.

Dorothy is survived by her son Dennis and special friend, Donna Falcon, Reliance; two daughters: Diane Hanson (Bruce) Kimball; and Gail Leheska (Steve) Chamberlain; eight grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters: Lucille Kunzweiler (Clem) Kimball; and Agnes Piskule (Kenneth) of Kimball.

Preceding her in death were her husband Delbert; a grandson, Brian; three brothers: Joseph, William and Raymond Sullivan; and two sisters: Josephine Fortin; and Loretta Grassel.
