The Dakota Wesleyan University volleyball team won the first set but dropped the match 3-1 against Jamestown College Friday in Mitchell.
Set scores were 23-25, 25-5, 25-28, 25-20.
Jamestown had three players with double-digit hitting numbers to defeat DWU.
Sam Sandau led the Tigers offensively with 12 kills and Danielle Bird had 11 kills, 11 digs and one ace. Katie Lindow led DWU’s defense with 13 digs in the loss.
The Tigers dropped to 4-18 on the season and hosts Northwestern College Wednesday at Corn Palace.
