BROOKINGS (AP) — Brookings County will soon be looking to hire a new highway engineer.
The media reports that Dennis Clark is resigning from the post, and county commissioners have decided they will again advertise to hire an engineer to fill the position.
Clark, of Brandon, has had the job since November. He earned about $63,000 annually.
Clark submitted his resignation Sept. 27, saying he feels stepping down is best for him and his family.
