Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills in this action thriller.
A retired CIA agent with a – “particular set of skills” — will stop at nothing to save his daughter Kim from kidnappers. When the father of one of the villains Bryan killed swears revenge, and takes Bryan and his wife hostage in Istanbul, Bryan enlists Kim to help them escape.
Bryan then employs his unique tactics to get his family to safety and systematically take out the kidnappers, one by one.
“Taken 2” opens nationally on Friday, including at the Luxury 5 Cinemas. 92 minutes. It is rated PG-13 for intense sequences of violence and action and some sensuality.
FRANKENWEENIE
From creative genius Tim Burton (“Alice in Wonderland,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas”) comes this heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog.
After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life — with just a few minor adjustments.
He tries to hide his homesewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash” on life can be monstrous.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA
This animated family comedy welcomes you to Hotel Transylvania for a monster of a good time.
Dracula now runs a lavish five-stake resort where monsters and their families can live it up, free to be the monsters they are without humans to bother them.
On one special weekend, Dracula has invited some of the world’s most famous monsters — Frankenstein and his bride, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, a family of werewolves and more — to celebrate his daughter Mavis’ 118th birthday. But Drac’s world could come crashing down when one ordinary guy stumbles on the hotel and takes a shine to Mavis.
The animated comedy features the voices of Adam Sandler, Miley Cyrus, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Cee-Lo Green, David Spade and Steve Buscemi.

LOOPER
Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon Levitt Emily Blunt and Jeff Daniels star in this futuristic action thriller.
In the not too distant future, time travel will be invented —but it will be illegal and only available on the black market.
When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” — a hired gun is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting right and life is good ... until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self for assassination.
“Looper” is held over. 118 minutes. It is rated R for strong violence, language, some sexuality/nudity and drug content.
TROUBLE WITH THE CURVE
This powerful comedy drama stars Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams, John Goodman and Justin Timberlake. Eastwood plays an aging major league baseball scout who has to confront mortality and failing eyesight as he assesses a hot high school batting prospect. The team managers and fellow scouts think his career is washed up. At the same time, he comes face to face with his troubled relationship with his alienated adult daughter (Amy Adams) who is now an attorney.
“Trouble with the Curve” is held over. 111 minutes. It is PG-13 for language, sexual references, some thematic material and smoking.
