TYNDALL — The trial for a Scotland man accused of killing his 4-month-old son has been moved to Parker. Chris Miller, 38, is accused of killing his son Jacob Allen Miller in March 2011 by shaking and beating him.

Miller’s trial was scheduled to begin later this month in Tyndall, but Judge Glen Eng signed an order Wednesday delaying the trial until January and moving it to the Turner County Courthouse in Parker.

Court documents indicate the trial could last more than two weeks.

Miller is charged with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree manslaughter, aggravated assault against a child and being a habitual offender.

He has pleaded not guilty.
