ABERDEEN (AP) — Talk about a swift change in seasons: Aberdeen residents could soon see its first snow shower of the season.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Kelly Serr tells the media that the forecast Wednesday night calls mostly for rain, but there's a chance some snow could sneak in in the overnight hours.

Serr says it looks like the heaviest amounts will stay in North Dakota. Temperatures will continue to be slightly below normal. Serr says highs should be in high-40s. That's about 20 degrees lower than average.

Serr says there will be a "large contrast" in temps even just slightly farther south of Aberdeen.
