Freshman beanie king and queen crowned at DWU

Freshman Skylar Forgey, of Dallas, was named beanie queen, and freshman Jade Miller, of Mitchell, was named beanie king Monday night during the 2012 Dakota Wesleyan University homecoming festivities.

Freshman Skylar Forgey, of Dallas, was named beanie queen, and freshman Jade Miller, of Mitchell, was named beanie king Monday night during the 2012 Dakota Wesleyan University homecoming festivities.

Traditionally, the beanie king and queen wear their beanies to all homecoming events, including the 10:30 a.m. Blue & White Days parade on Saturday. The homecoming football game will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Joe Quintal Field. DWU will play Dordt College.
