Melvin Droppers, 89, Yankton, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Avera Yankton Care Center. He was born on June 6, 1923.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at First United Methodist Church, Yankton, with the Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Yankton, with military honors by the Ernest-Bowyer VFW Post No. 791.
