LETTER: Previous letter missed important information

Unintentional consequences: I apologize to The Daily Republic and its staff and to its reading audience. I failed to note the author of the content in the recent letter I submitted.

To the Editor:

Unintentional consequences: I apologize to The Daily Republic and its staff and to its reading audience. I failed to note the author of the content in the recent letter I submitted. In past letters of mine, I have noted the source if it is other than mine and there may be some I did not, and it was never intentional if I missed noting it.

In the past few years I have noticed a word (and the experiences of it) that has entered my aging process (going on 72) known as “forgetfulness.” If you have noticed this symptom in your life, I share your discomfort and embarrassment. For most of you who haven’t, you have a real treat in store ahead of you. As to the unintentional consequence article titled “The Lesser of Two Evils Con Game,” I would recommend that you read the complete article. I would also recommend the book “Dissenting Electorate: Those Who Refuse to Vote and the Legitimacy of Their Opposition.”

Well, until next time, “unless I forget.”
