Melvin Droppers, 89, Yankton, died Friday, Sept. 21, 2012, at Avera Yankton Care Center, Yankton.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, Yankton. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery, with military honors by the Ernest-Bowyer VFW Post No. 791. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Wintz and Ray Funeral Home, Yankton, with the family present. There will be a 7 p.m. prayer service Monday at the funeral home.
