SALEM — McCook Central/Montrose rushed for 262 yards as a team and jumped out to a 19-0 lead at half en route to a 26-0 win over Sioux Falls Christian Friday night in high school football action.
Zach Bies led the charge for the Fighting Cougars, rushing for 107 yards and a touchdown. Tim Gassman recorded 77 yards rushing and a touchdown, while Corwin Coldman added 30 yards on the ground in the win.
Brandon Reif was 4-of-7 passing for MCM, throwing for 61 yards and an interception. Reif scored the opening touchdown of the game on a 2-yard run. Jacob Heumiller had two receptions for 19 yards and Billy Kapperman had one catch for 35 yards.
MCM improved to 3-2 with the win and takes on Wagner Friday in Wagner. Sioux Falls Christian dropped to 0-4 and hosts Parkston next week.

Boone DeKramer had 48 yards on two receptions. Eric Tieszen had one reception for 39 yards. DeKramer recorded seven tackles. Tieszen, Jason VanWinkle and Devin Denison each had three tackles.

WINNER — Ben Connot, Nate Galbraith and Kyle Bertram scored six of Winner’s seven touchdowns in a 47-0 win over Platte-Geddes/Dakota Christian Friday.
Winner, which finished with 47 rushes for 422 yards, moved to 5-0 on the season.
Connot led the Warriors with eight carries for 115 yards. He scored a 1-yard TD in the first quarter and had a 61-yard TD in the third quarter.
Bertram had six carries for 50 yards with a 10-yard rushing touchdown and a 37-yard receiving touchdown. It was his only catch of the night.
Galbraith had two carries for 91 yards and Trace Meyer had seven carries for 57 yards. Meyer also had eight tackles and three sacks.
Tanner Fritz was 2-of-4 passing for 47 yards and two TDs. His other touchdown was to Shayden Drey, a 10-yard score to open the second quarter.
