Congratulations to the Ethan 2012 homecoming king, Anthony Huber, and queen, Alex Gerlach.

Anthony is the son of Roger Huber and Martha Huber and Alex is the daughter of Travis Gerlach and Sara Jordan.

The Ethan Trailriders are hosting a Horse Show on Sunday at the Ethan Horse Arena. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and the show begins at 11 a.m. There will be three age categories.

Events include barrels, poles, western jumping, tire race, keyhole, tomahawk, hangman, candy bar race and rescue race. Prizes and trophies will be awarded. Events for this week: Today: Volleyball vs. Mitchell Christian at Mitchell Christian. Junior high and JV football at Mount Vernon. Thursday: Volleyball vs. Scotland at Scotland. Fifth- and sixth-grade basketball vs. Stickney at Ethan. Friday: Football vs. Hanson County at Alexandria. Saturday: Junior high and JV football jamboree at Chester. Sunday: Horse Show, Ethan Horse Arena.
