A Bridgewater woman recently concluded a summer internship in Rep. Kristi Noem’s Sioux Falls office.

Jodi Stahl is a 2010 graduate of Bridgewater High School who is now enrolled at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, where she is studying public relations and business administration.

“Jodi was a diligent and responsible worker who was committed to serving the people of South Dakota from my Sioux Falls office,” said Noem, a freshman Republican from rural Castlewood. “I was glad to have Jodi on board this summer and wish her the best of luck as she continues her collegiate career.”

Stahl, 20, is the daughter of Charles and Brenda Stahl, of Bridgewater.

“I learned a lot about communication, government and the legislative process during my internship,” she said.

The district office internship program gives students a look at how issues in South Dakota are handled at the federal level.

Stahl’s duties included answering phones, assisting with constituent communications and attending outreach events in the southeast area.

Noem offers internships in her Sioux Falls, Watertown, Rapid City and Washington, D.C. To learn more about these internship opportunities, contact Peter Eckrich at (202) 225-2801 or Peter.Eckrich@mail.house.gov
