LETTER: We built it and will rebuild it

With God’s help we built it and somehow we are going to rebuild it and preserve it — undoubtedly without your help.

By: Joan Juntunen , Plankinton

To the Editor:

When the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America is dismissed as not good enough for opening ceremonies in this country

When uttering the word “God” bothers you ...

When you show no interest in World Day of Prayers ...

When you threaten the American people with fines and or jail if they do not purchase a product they don’t want, cannot afford and is unconstitutional ...

When you approve of killing innocent, helpless unborn babies ...

When you cut paychecks of those who put their life on the line for the protection of your butt ...

When you empty the coffers of the trust money that was entrusted in your care for people’s retirement ...

When you lie to the people concerning the gravity of a situation and assume we will don rose-colored glasses so we can’t see the truth...

When you blame others for your lack of ambition to roll up your sleeves and at least make an honest effort to improve something instead of riding on your broken promises ...

When you continue to spend frivolously, allowing the national debt to rise into oblivion, putting us in chains for generations ...

When you deny what the real truth is ...

When you mock the hardworking people (who pay your salary) by saying “You didn’t build it” ...

Then it is way overdue for you to step down, go back where you came from and stay there. You failed to honor what the great men of this country endowed us with: the chance for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. With God’s help we built it and somehow we are going to rebuild it and preserve it — undoubtedly without your help.
