A Mitchell man convicted of using a forged prescription to obtain oxycodone will remain on probation after admitting to multiple violations.

Shane Alan Heitman, 37, admitted earlier this month to missing multiple court-ordered drug testing appointments.

Heitman was sentenced to four years of probation after he was convicted in June of misrepresentation to obtain a controlled substance, and will remain on probation for that time after the recent violations. Heitman also spent five days in jail following the violation.

“This is strike one,” said Judge Rodney Steele. “Strike two, and you’re out.”
