Fort Thompson woman pleads guilty in drug case

A Fort Thompson woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

A Fort Thompson woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Teanna Lynn Dion, 27, was arrested July 2 in Mitchell after police allegedly found two pipes with methamphetamine residue in her purse.

She faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $20,000 fine for the meth charge, a felony, and another 30 days in jail and a $500 fine for the paraphernalia charge, a misdemeanor.

A trial date is set for November.
