A 51-year-old man was arrested Sept. 1 after allegedly punching two people during a bag-toss game at Dakota Campgrounds in Mitchell.
Scott Travis Donaldson, of Mitchell, was playing a bag-toss game with two other individuals when he became upset and punched one of the individuals in the face, then punched the other in the chest a short time later, court documents say. When law enforcement arrived, Donaldson immediately raised his voice and began swearing, and refused to calm down, court documents add.
He was arrested and charged with two counts of simple assault and one count of disorderly conduct.
When being booked into Davison County Jail, an item with marijuana residue was found in Donaldson’s pocket. As a result, he also faces one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
