Mitchell police respond to vehicle fire
Mitchell Police responded to a vehicle fire at the 900 block of West Second Avenue in Mitchell early Sunday morning.By: Staff reports, The Daily Republic
Mitchell Police responded to a vehicle fire at the 900 block of West Second Avenue in Mitchell early Sunday morning.
The call, at 12:51 a.m., to emergency personal originally came in as a grass fire but when emergency workers got there they found a vehicle on fire. The car is registered to Leann Blasdell, who upon being contacted said the vehicle was stolen from Huron and she would be filing a stolen vehicle report with the Huron Police.
The car is considered a total loss and no one was injured during the fire. No one is in custody at this time.
