Merissa Falkenberg and Blake Luetjen announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Jennifer Falkenberg, Fordyce, Neb.; Steve Falkenberg, Yankton; and Paul and Kathy Luetjen, Sioux Falls.

Merissa is a 2010 graduate of Crofton High School, Crofton, Neb., and a 2012 graduate of Hair by Stewarts. She is employed by Belle Touche Aveda Salon and Day Spa, Sioux Falls.

Blake is a 2010 graduate of Harrisburg High School and is attending Colorado Technical University studying computer engineering. He is employed full time at Citibank, Sioux Falls.

An Oct. 13 wedding is planned in Yankton.
