Farm group offers chance at $500 in free groceries

SIOUX FALLS — South Dakota Farm Families is offering the chance for South Dakota residents to register to win a $500 grocery gift card to purchase their favorite foods for fall barbecues and tailgate parties.

South Dakota residents can register by liking South Dakota Farm Families on Facebook and registering on the Facebook page. Consumers can register through the month of September.

By liking the SDFF Facebook page, consumers will receive links to recipes, cooking tips and interaction with South Dakota Farm Families through videos, blogs and farm tour details throughout the year.

Participating South Dakota agriculture organizations include Ag United for South Dakota, South Dakota Soybean Research and Promotion Council, South Dakota Beef Industry Council, Midwest Dairy Association, South Dakota Pork Producers Council, Dakota Layers, South Dakota Wheat Commission and South Dakota Corn Utilization Council.
