Father, son die in Gettysburg gas-related accident
GETTYSBURG (AP) — Authorities say father and son died in a work-related accident near Gettysburg.

Authorities say 50-year-old Kirk Hansen and 20-year-old Erik Hansen were overcome by methane gas Tuesday afternoon at the West Whitlock Resort area.
Authorities say Erik Hansen died Tuesday. Kirk Hansen died early Wednesday morning at a Sioux Falls hospital
Potter County Sheriff Curt Hamburger tells the media that the two men were working on a lift station repair. He says they apparently were standing in a hole about 4 feet deep and were overcome by methane gas.
