A Mitchell man pleaded guilty Tuesday to violating his probation.
Michael Keeble, 46, had been convicted of simple assault against a law enforcement officer and was on probation for the offense when he failed to complete intensive outpatient treatment, did not attend an aftercare program and did not appear at a scheduled appointment with his probation officer in August.
Keeble refused a lawyer and pleaded guilty. He told the judge that he completed the intensive outpatient treatment but didn’t complete the aftercare program.
Judge Rodney Steele revoked Keeble’s probation and ordered an updated presentence investigation. Steele scheduled sentencing for October and ordered Keeble to participate in the 24/7 Sobriety program while on personal recognizance bond.
