Judge Rodney Steele released a Mitchell man on a personal recognizance bond Tuesday after a pre-sentence report suggested he’d do well on his own.

Jamie Drapeau, 31, violated his probation in July when he failed a breathalyzer test for the 24/7 Sobriety program and tested positive for marijuana.

However, Drapeau has held a job at Ruby Tuesday for seven years.

Steele released him on his own recognizance on the condition that he promise to appear in court for sentencing in October, comply with the 24/7 program and remain law-abiding.
