Tiger wrestling to host golf tourney

The Dakota Wesleyan University wrestling team will host the first annual Tiger Wrestling Golf Tournament Saturday, Sept. 15, at Wild Oak Golf Course in Mitchell.

The tournament is a fundraiser to help raise money for scholarships for the DWU wrestling program. The cost of the tournament is $50 per person, which includes a golf cart and lunch.

The tournament is a four-man scramble and will have a shotgun start at 9 a.m.

There will be pin prizes at every hole, and two flights of payout at the conclusion of the tournament. First place is each flight will receive $100 and second place wins $50.

For more information, contact DWU wrestling head coach Matt Sedivy at 605-995-2149. Walk-ups will be accepted the day of the tournament, but preregistration is highly encouraged.
