USDA awards Kadoka Economic Development Corp. $99K grant

KADOKA (AP) — A South Dakota corporation is one of 16 recipients of a federal grant to spur economic development.

KADOKA (AP) — A South Dakota corporation is one of 16 recipients of a federal grant to spur economic development.

Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced this week that the Jackson-Kadoka Economic Development Corporation is receiving a $99,000 grant. The money will be used to establish a revolving loan fund to assist small and emerging businesses.

The money comes from a Department of Agriculture grant aimed at assisting small businesses as a way to spur economic development and create or save jobs.
