A Mitchell man changed his plea to guilty Tuesday to possessing marijuana.

A Mitchell man changed his plea to guilty Tuesday to possessing marijuana.

Justin McAllister, 34, pleaded guilty to possessing between 1 and 10 pounds of marijuana on March 14 in Davison County.

He also admitted to knowingly possessing the drug. He remains free on bail.

Judge Rodney Steele scheduled sentencing for October.
