Mitchell man pleads guilty to third-offense DUI

A Mitchell man pleaded guilty to third-offense driving under the influence Tuesday at the Davison County Public Safety Center courtroom.

A Mitchell man pleaded guilty to third-offense driving under the influence Tuesday at the Davison County Public Safety Center courtroom.

Darryl Jongsma, 58, was arrested for driving under the influence on Jan. 31 in Davison County.

He had two previous DUI convictions in South Dakota, one in McCook County in 2006 and another in Douglas County in 2010.

Judge Rodney Steele scheduled sentencing for October.
