Couple to walk down the aisle on Sept. 7

Melissa Gates and Chris Spielmann announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Bonnie and Darwin Punt, Oacoma; Dan and Gail Spielmann, Sioux Falls; and Diane Spielmann and Denny Martinson, both of Dell Rapids.

Melissa is a 2002 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and a 2006 graduate of Dakota State University, Madison, with a degree in business administration. She is an underwriting specialist at CNA Surety, Sioux Falls.

Chris is a 2001 graduate of Dell Rapids High School and a 2005 graduate of Dakota State University with a degree in computer information systems. He is a network administrator at The First National Bank, Sioux Falls.

A Sept. 7 wedding is planned at The Ransom Church, Sioux Falls.
