Time at the Table and The Network have joined forces to bring OktoBEERfest to the Highland Conference Center in Mitchell on Saturday, Sept. 29.
The event, which will run from 4 to 7 p.m., will feature a sampling of about 50 beers from some of the nation’s finest craft brewers, including Samuel Adams, Boulevard, Leinekugel’s and Sierra Nevada. In addition to the beer tasting, live music featuring Chris Miller and contests will occupy the main stage throughout the event. Beer will not be the only sampling available, as a brat bar will be included in the ticket price.
Tickets are $25 and are available at County Fair, the Mitchell Chamber and online at oktobeerfest.net.
A free shuttle service will be offered between the Highland Conference Center and downtown Mitchell, dropping off and picking up people from The Depot, The Moonlight and Dr. Lucky’s approximately every 30 minutes.
The Network, a committee of the Mitchell Area Chamber of Commerce, is a collection of young professionals focused on delivering social and professional development opportunities in the Mitchell community.
Time at the Table is a nonprofit organization focused on reconnecting families around the dinner table.
