LUSK, Wyo. (AP) — A South Dakota man and a woman from Georgia are dead after a head-on collision in eastern Wyoming.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol said 66-year-old Sandra Frazier's Dodge Caravan crossed over into oncoming traffic on U.S. Highway 85 about 27 miles north of Lusk on Sunday. The Dodge hit a Gulf Stream motorhome carrying the Henriksen family from Rapid City. Sixty-seven-year-old Alan C. Henriksen died at the scene.
Troopers don't know yet why Frazier, of Columbus, Georgia, crossed into oncoming traffic. The crash happened on a straight and level section of the highway and the weather was fair.
