Jake Weber tosses perfect game for Parkston at state
TABOR — Parkston right-hander Jake Weber tossed four innings of perfect baseball to lead his team to a 15-0, mercy-rule win over Big Stone City in a first-round Class A VFW 15-16 state tournament victory Friday.

Weber struck out three and didn’t allow a runner to reach base.
Offensively for Parkston, Spencer Lucas and Dillon Stadlman each had home runs. Stadlman had four RBIs and Lucas had three.
Ty Kinneberg and Brady Reiff had three hits at the plate.
Big Stone City pitcher Issac Cloos took the loss, throwing two innings and allowing 10 runs and six hits.
Parkston scored four in the first, six in the second, three in the third and two in the fourth, totaling 11 hits.
Parkston (18-6) plays at 5:30 p.m. today against Madison (22-2).
Tyndall 15,
Dakota Valley 12
TABOR — Austin Kaul picked up the win on the mound, Sawyer Fridrich had a single and a double and Tyndall defeated Dakota Valley in the first round of the Class A VFW 15-16 state tournament victory Friday.
Tyndall trailed 6-3 after the first inning and 9-6 after three, but scored four fifth-inning runs to help aid the comeback.
Tyndall finished with 13 hits to Dakota Valley’s 15, and Kaul, Chase Kortan, Fridrich and Scott Weiseler each had two hits.
Tyndall (20-4) plays at 7:30 p.m. today against Hartford/Humboldt in a semifinal game.
