Mitchell woman pleads not guilty to perjury

A 35-year-old Mitchell woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to giving false testimony during a protection order hearing last July.

A 35-year-old Mitchell woman pleaded not guilty Tuesday to giving false testimony during a protection order hearing last July. Karina Louise Willoughby faces five years in prison and a $10,000 fine if convicted of the perjury charge against her.

Willoughby allegedly lied about the source of several emails pertinent to a protection order hearing she testified at July 11, 2011. Willoughby is scheduled to stand trial in November.
