LETTER: Abortion risks should be told

To the Editor:
I disagree with your opinion printed on July 26. Every person considering any medical procedure should know the risks involved. Having known post-abortive women who have taken their own lives underscores the fact that everyone needs to know the risks. Though abortion is legal, abortion is not a solution to problems — it simply adds to the already existing problems. I applaud the people who voted for and supported this law. I applaud the recent court decision to uphold our law. Thank you South Dakota, and congratulations on the win.
