USD-SDSU football tickets a hot item
BROOKINGS (AP) — The resumption of the century-old football rivalry involving the University of South Dakota and South Dakota State is drawing a lot of interest.
Reserved tickets for the Nov. 17 game in Brookings went on sale this week, and SDSU officials say they sold out in a day. Fans who still want to go to the game can buy standing-room-only tickets.
The game will rekindle the rivalry that began in 1889 and was interrupted in 2003 when SDSU made the jump from NCAA Division II to Division I. USD has since followed suit.
