Mitchell church plans Bible school events

“Searching for Hidden Treasures” will be the theme for Vacation Bible School Monday through Friday, Aug. 10, at Grace Baptist Church, 600 S. Edmunds, Mitchell.

Children in grades 1 through 6 will meet from 9 a.m. until noon for a missionary story, illustrated Bible teaching, balloon sculpturing, snacks and prizes.

Grades 7 through 12 will meet from 6:30 to 9 p.m. each evening Monday through Thursday, They will learn about “fortunes” through a variety of activities and Bible preaching. Refreshments will be served.

At 6:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 10, there will be a special program by the students for parents and friends. Awards will be presented, followed by a carnival for the children.
