Quinton McGhee, of Pukwana, on Monday claimed his $5,000 prize from the Wednesday Wild Card 2 drawing. McGhee hit the game’s second prize by matching all five white ball numbers but missing the Wild Card.
The odds of winning $5,000 playing Wild Card 2 are 1 in 90,619.
He purchased his winning ticket at Cruzer’s Pit Stop at 201 W. King in Chamberlain. The store will receive a $500 bonus for the sale.
Wild Card 2 is played only in Idaho, Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. The jackpot sits at $405,000 for the next drawing this Wednesday.
