Baan Hofman, Van Dyke to wed Sept. 1

April Baan Hofman and Travis Van Dyke announce their engagement.

Parents of the couple are Larry and Brenda Baan Hofman, Corsica; and Kim and Linda Van Dyke, Chester, Mont.

April is a 2005 graduate of Dakota Christian High School, New Holland. She attended Lake Area Technical Institute, Watertown. She is a dental assistant in Brookings.

Travis is a 2004 graduate of Chester High School, Chester, and Mitchell Technical Institute. He is a gas welder/fitter with North Western Energy, Brookings.

A Sept. 1 wedding is planned in Brookings.
