LETTER: Nation’s leaders no longer true to religions

Nations rise and nations fall, but we are a young nation with more than $15 trillion in debt. By unreliable government statistics, half of all Americans are poor with the percentage increasing.

To the Editor:

Nations rise and nations fall, but we are a young nation with more than $15 trillion in debt. By unreliable government statistics, half of all Americans are poor with the percentage increasing.

President Obama, of radical religions, if any, put his hand on the Bible as part of his oath and Vice President Biden did so as a devout Catholic, always promoting abortion and same-sex marriage.

Other personal freedoms Obama may support are polygamy and prostitution. All are present somewhere in the United States as are abortion and same-sex marriage. All these can vote.

Maybe these leaders should have used a catalog instead of a Bible. These leaders are fast trying to limit religious freedom, and even Hitler saw that religion could be a barrier. It is not so much which, if any, religion as it is to not be a hypocrite before God and humans.

It is obvious that the worst Congress in history has not helped, and all the rich lawyers there did not save us — debt and wars.

If religious blacks and Catholics of faith vote for change, so will the United States change.

Should God bless America?
